| Peasenhall Pea Festival, Suffolk Sunday 19th July 2009 The 2nd Peasenhall Pea Festival takes place on Sunday 19 July and is sponsored by Yes Peas!, the campaign for the frozen pea industry (www.peas.org) and will begin with the sounding of the barrel organ at 10.30am. As you would expect the festival carries a pea theme throughout the day and will include the Suffolk pea shooting championships, the East Anglian Pea throwing competitions, the World Pea podding championships and cookery demonstrations by celebrity chef, Rachel Green. |
